Description
Waynflete School, an independent day school in Portland Maine serving over 550 students (Grades EC-12), seeks a Technology Support Specialist and Network Administrator to support and assist in the management of the day-to-day technology operations of the school.  Training to begin in early-December.

Primary responsibilities include: Maintaining network environment powered by Cisco appliances and Aruba Wireless; Maintaining Windows server environment; Monitoring network for failover and redundancy: disaster recovery, data integrity and security; Assisting in the creation and deployment of end-user machines; Providing support for faculty and staff users: laptops, desktops, printers, G Suite, Microsoft and other software; Providing whole school (administration, faculty, students, parent) support for remote learning: VPN, Zoom, Swivl, and other such technologies; Managing select IT infrastructure implementations, upgrades and other projects as assigned by the Director of Technology;  Collaborating with other members of the Technology Department and the Waynflete community to support the successful delivery of technology services throughout the school.

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or an IT systems field and/or a minimum of three years relevant work experience, preferably in an educational setting.
