Waynflete seeks a creative and engaging part-time Psychology teacher for the 2025–2026 school year. This position is for one high school semester-long course that can run both fall and spring semester or for only one of the semesters, depending on candidate availability. The course is called Introduction to Psychology and is available to 11th and 12th grade students. 

Experience teaching Psychology, along with a masters degree or higher in a relevant field is preferred, though a teacher with a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Social Work or Sociology, along with strong teaching skills, will also be considered. We seek applicants who are passionate about the field of psychology, who use innovative teaching practices, and engage with students and colleagues in a collaborative spirit. The candidate should be prepared to teach a foundational course in Psychology that provides broad coverage of the field by presenting basic theories, research, and applied use of psychology. The course should also provide students with the tools necessary for the study of psychology, and a sampling of the major areas of psychology research. Because of the nature of our schedule, the candidate will need to be available three days per week, at different times of the day on those three days.
