ID: | 1185 |
Waynflete School seeks a mathematics educator to join our 6-12 faculty beginning in late August for the 2025–2026 school year. This position primarily involves managing and supporting students in our Middle and Upper School Math Labs—a space where students across all levels of math receive individualized support—and may also include supporting mathematics classroom teachers.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to gain meaningful experience in education, particularly in a student-centered, collaborative school environment. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in mathematics or a related field, and should demonstrate enthusiasm for working with adolescents and supporting a wide range of learners. Prior teaching experience is not required, but experience in tutoring is a plus.
We seek applicants who are energetic, flexible, and eager to engage with both students and colleagues. A commitment to inclusive practices and a willingness to contribute to a diverse learning community are important qualities for this role.
Waynflete is committed to the values of diversity, equity, and inclusion, and we believe that all students benefit from a learning environment where multiple perspectives are valued and respected. We encourage applications from individuals who share these values and who are excited to support students in a vibrant educational setting.
