Waynflete is anticipating a hiring need for 1-2 part-time teachers for its Afterschool Program, which serves children from PK through Grade 8.  The Afterschool Program addresses students’ needs at the end of the school day with an inclusive, supportive community and engaging activities, including storytelling, art projects, and plenty of outdoor play.

The schedule is M,T,TH,F from 2:45-5:15 PM, with one afternoon until 6:00 PM, and Wednesdays from 11:30 AM-6:00 PM, for a total of 15-18 hours per week. Additional days of full-day programming occur during the school year, including dates in September before the first day of school, October, January, March, May and June directly following the last day of the school year; Afterschool teachers run these full day programs and are asked to reserve these dates/hours ahead of time.  Anyone interested in working exclusively on Wednesdays is encouraged to reach out as well.

Qualifications: Teaching experience in a school or recreational environment desired. Qualified candidate may also have an opportunity to substitute for teachers in the Lower School. CHRC and DHHS fingerprinting will be required.
