Waynflete School is seeking a Camp Director to begin in February 2024.  This position is approximately 10 hours per week February-April, 20 hours per week in May, and full-time during the operation of Waynflete Summer Camp in June and July.  The Camp Director manages a dynamic educational and recreational program working closely with the Director and Assistant of Auxiliary Programs. Responsibilities include the supervision of 70+ staff members, oversight of 600+ campers over a 6-week period, coordination of camp schedules and logistics, communication with camp families, and program oversight. 

The Camp Director must demonstrate outstanding interpersonal, written/verbal, organizational, project management, and technology skills. The ideal candidate has extensive experience working with Google platforms, MS Office Suite and CampBrain database management. They must enjoy working with children and communicating with a broad range of constituents. Flexibility and management of a wide variety of responsibilities in a dynamic, fast paced environment is essential.  2+ years of prior supervisory experience in camp or school administration is required.  First Aid/CPR/AED training required.
