Waynflete School has an immediate need for Facilities Staff. This is a year-round, full-time position offering a competitive wage and a benefits package that includes 100% employer covered premium for health, dental, life and disability insurance, retirement plan matching, 3 weeks vacation, 12 sick days, 2 personal days and 14 paid holidays. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday with occasional weekends and overtime required.   Duties for the position include but are not limited to: performing minor repairs, assessing electrical, plumbing and heating needs, carpentry projects, event set-ups, interior/exterior painting, landscaping and snow removal.

Applicants should enjoy working in a student-centered, fast-paced environment which includes a number of constituencies. A positive, team-oriented demeanor is essential.   Previous experience in the maintenance field and working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and heating required; carpentry skills are a plus. Must hold a current driver’s license in good standing.  Physical demands of the position include but are not limited to:  frequent walking, use of hands, reaching, kneeling, crouching, climbing, and lifting of up to 75 lbs.
