Description
Waynflete seeks to fill the position of Communications Coordinator. This full-time position calls for a wide range of communication, administrative, and creative responsibilities. This is an entry-level position appropriate for individuals with 1–3 years of experience. The position reports to the Director of Marketing and Communications.
Responsibilities include managing and creating content for the school’s social media channels and website, creating email newsletters, managing relationships with outside vendors, creating event materials, managing the school’s photo archive, and independently executing projects with the school’s divisional and departmental faculty and staff.
Candidates should possess a degree in communications, marketing, or related discipline and demonstrate interpersonal skills required to interact with staff, faculty, students, and families. Candidates must be detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Must be comfortable with web project management tools, Google Suite, etc. Experience with Photoshop, InDesign, Google AdWords, social media management tools, photography, and basic video editing are helpful assets. Athletic coaching experience welcomed. Please indicate interest and experience.
