Waynflete School seeks a part-time teacher for its Afterschool Program, which serves children from PK through Grade 8, beginning in January 2019. The Afterschool Program addresses students’ needs at the end of the school day with an inclusive, supportive community and engaging activities, including storytelling, art projects, and plenty of outdoor play.

The typical schedule is M,T,TH,F from 2:45-5:15 PM, with one afternoon until 6:00 PM, and Wednesdays from 11:30 AM-5:00 PM, for a total of 15-18 hours per week. Additional days of full-day programming occur on five dates, including days in January, March and directly following the last day of the school year; Afterschool teachers run these full day programs.
Qualifications: Teaching experience in a school or recreational environment desired. Qualified candidate may also have an opportunity to substitute for teachers in the Lower School.
